(Ti Kwan Yin) - The Iron Godess of Mercy  is a name of certain tea variety with curly jagged leaf edges. From this skilfully coiled leaves of grey-green you can prepare aromatic, aureate brew of full bittersweet taste. There's a legend related to this tea: In the old days one poor farmer was looking after the old temple with an iron statue of Goddess of Mercy. One night the goddess appeared in his dream and showed him a certain place in the mountains, where the next day the farmer found a teaplant growing. He took it home, grown a teatree and from its leaves he prepared wonderously delicate tea. Soon after the village got rich thanks to the new tea and so the temple could be repaired.
