Long Jing means "dragon's well", which is a name of the village on a shore of The Western Lake (Xi Hu), where this very famous green tea comes from. This tea is known for its four uniquenesses: the green colour, the balanced taste, the smell and the beautiful shape. It has a cooling effects, the yellow-green brew has slightly sweetish, freshy, aromatic taste long afertaste. The leaves don't get rolled, but it's dried on a frying pan and that's what gives to it the characteristic flattened shape.
