Gunpowder - Zhu Cha

E 502

Zhu Cha - means "the pearl tea" in translation. But it's known worldwide as Gunpowder. It's well recognisible thanks to it's shape - leaves are coiled into small dark-green nuggets, resistant to quick aging. The tea pearls have dimly-shining look and lightly sweetish aroma. The brew is of yellow-green, the flavour is a bit sharper, bittersweet. Drinking of this tea is recommended to prevent dental caries because of high rate of fluoride.
