(Chi-men hung-cha) The wholeleaf black (red) tea coming from Qi-Men canton ("Great Gate") in the south of Anhui province and it's considered the best chinese black tea. Maufacture of this tea begun only in 19th century and in 1915 it obtained golden award on International Trade Fair in Panama. Thanks to local variety of teaplant, that includes special essence myrcenal, this tea offers extraordinary flavour. The tea leaves are carefully coiled into the shape of subtle needles of black colour. Smells sweetish, almost of chocolate and orchid flowers. The brew has red-orange, almost brown-orange colour.
